Two GSM Options – 21 GSM (Fast) & 50 GSM (Slow)

Paper thickness directly affects flow rate and contact time. The 21 GSM Fast option accelerates drainage for a brighter, cleaner extraction. The 50 GSM Slow option restricts flow for longer contact time and a fuller, more developed cup. Pair each weight with the corresponding FLO screen speed to compound the effect.

FSC-Certified Japanese Pulp

Made from odourless, tasteless Japanese pulp certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). No papery aftertaste, no oils interfering with clarity. The wave design promotes even water distribution across the bed and maintains temperature stability throughout the pour.

Universal Flat-Bottom Compatibility

Designed for the Varia FLO dripper but compatible with any flat-bottom wave dripper. Available in FLO 55 and FLO 85 sizes. Each box contains 100 filters.

Paper selection is where most filter brewers stop experimenting – and where the FLO system starts. Matching a 50 GSM Slow paper with a Slow screen extends contact time significantly. Running a 21 GSM Fast paper with a Fast screen produces a quick, high-clarity pass.

The wave form geometry ensures the paper maintains its shape without collapsing against the dripper walls – critical for consistent flow path and even saturation. Both FLO 55 and FLO 85 are available in 21 GSM (Fast) and 50 GSM (Slow) – select the size that fits your dripper setup.
